Shipping Policy

 

SHIPPING

We strive to ship individual packages together whenever possible so that they arrive at the same time. However, when this is not feasible, we initiate shipping based on the availability of individual packages. In these cases, the notification to you that your order has "shipped" marks the commencement of shipping.

Each package may have a separate tracking number and can be monitored on the Order Status page. Please note that credit cards and debit cards will be charged on the date of inventory reservation for the order, not the date of shipping.

 

SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES

All product prices do not include charges for shipping and handling, sales/use taxes, and other government-required fees. Separate charges will be displayed on the order acknowledgment for each applicable order. Taxes will be charged for orders shipped to locations where Moomaya is required to collect and report such sales taxes. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items.

 

MY SHIPMENT OPTION

All our products are shipped from our warehouse office in India within 48 hours of receiving a confirmed payment for your order. All items are shipped worldwide through India Post via Registered Airmail. We also offer expedited shipping options from private courier services such as DHL, FedEx, Aramex, UPS, UBX, TNT, and more. If you shop for $40 or more, your parcel will be automatically upgraded to expedited shipping service. Please check the order confirmation page to see the delivery options available to you, including their duration and associated costs.

On rare occasions, there may be restrictions on shipping to certain countries. If such a case arises, we will inform you of your options.

Please note that we do not offer weekend deliveries, and expedited shipping by Moomaya cannot deliver to P.O. Box or Military addresses (APO, FPO, etc.). If you wish to have your package delivered to these types of addresses, we will ship it via India postal services, which will then be delivered to you through your local post office.

 

How long will it take for my parcel to arrive?

All purchase orders are processed within 48 business hours. Shipping may take anywhere between 15 – 25 business days for deliveries via India Postal Service, depending on your location and the opening hours of your local post office. In certain occasions, items may get held up at customs for inspection, but rest assured they will reach you soon!

Please note that order delivery time can be affected by holidays, weather conditions, customs laws, and other variables beyond your or our control. Please understand that we cannot be held responsible for these situations.

Delivery through our expedited shipping service with private courier companies takes up to 3 to 5 business days for delivery.

 

Loss or Damage in Transit

Non-delivery must be reported to Moomaya in writing within 48 hours from the delivery date specified in the contract. Damage to goods or any shortfall must also be reported in writing by the customer to Moomaya within 48 hours of delivery. Moomaya is entitled to rectify any shortage or non-delivery of the goods.

Failure by the customer to comply with these conditions will void any possible claim of any nature against Moomaya.

 

Risk of Damage or Loss

All goods purchased through the site are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such goods pass to you upon delivery of the item by the carrier, whether or not a signature of receipt has been obtained:

  • Where the goods are collected by or on behalf of the customer, the risk shall pass immediately upon collection.
  • Where the customer wrongfully fails to take delivery, risk shall pass to the customer at the time when Moomaya has tendered delivery of the goods.

 

DELIVERY

We will reasonably strive to deliver the goods on the date stated in the order acknowledgment, but such dates are reasonable estimates only, and the time for delivery shall not be of the essence.

We will not be liable to you for any unforeseeable loss, damage, or expense you may incur, which arises directly or indirectly from any delay in delivery of the goods due to circumstances beyond our control. We will always notify you of your delivery prior to the arrival of your goods at your address.

If Moomaya is unable for any reason to fulfill the delivery of the goods on any estimated delivery date, Moomaya shall not be deemed to be in breach of contract or have any liability to the customer.

If the customer fails to take delivery of the goods or fails to provide adequate instructions for delivery (in the event of non-delivery due to a mistake by the customer in filling the delivery address, name, or any other relevant information), then, without prejudice to any other right or remedy available to Moomaya, Moomaya may re-ship the goods to the customer at the customer's expense.

 

CHANGING DELIVERY ADDRESS

To change your delivery address, please contact our customer care team via support@moomaya.com. We will verify your details and inform you of any change in delivery fees if applicable. This option is available 24 hours before the dispatch of your product. Once goods have been dispatched for delivery, changing the delivery address will incur redelivery costs.

 

DELIVERY TRACKING

Thanks to our interactive tracking system, checking the status of your order is easy! Just log in to your account on our website, select the item you wish to track, and we'll take you to a tracking page that will provide you with an update. You will also receive a confirmation email with tracking information as soon as you place an order. You can also email us at support@moomaya.com to track your order.
